Project: Learning Project 11th October 2017

The complexity of humanitarian emergencies demands a multi-stakeholder approach. By investing in consortia consisting of NGO, government and academic partners, the Disasters and Emergencies Preparedness Programme (DEPP) aims to evidence the critical role of collaboration in strengthening preparedness and improving the effectiveness of disaster response.

This briefing paper outlines the key successes, challenges and learnings on collaboration within the DEPP. This short piece is based on the 2016 DEPP Learning Report which can be found here.
