Reflection From Needs Assessment: Appropriate And Timely Response Is Accountability Towards Affected Populations

Project: Talent Development 12th September 2017

Shafiqur Rahman took part in a facilitated needs assessment in the northwest zone of Bangladesh as part of the Talent Development project’s Entry Level Trainee scheme. It is important to reflect to learn from our experiences, and in this blog Shafique shares some of his key reflections:

“While assessing the needs in consultation with local stakeholders, I got the opportunity to look into the issue of recent flood in the northwest in Bangladesh which caused huge damage of the staple crops, house and WASH infrastructure. I would like to emphasis some of the issues experienced through the need assessment process.”
