Transforming Surge Capacity – Resource Sheet

Project: Transforming Surge Capacity 6th February 2018

Through the Transforming Surge Capacity project (2015-2018), 11 humanitarian agencies and 2 technical partners have come together to better understand how the sector can deliver more effective, localised and collaborative surge capacity to respond to an increasing humanitarian need.

One of the aims of the project has been to ensure that sufficient resources and systems are in place to build capacity amongst national staff and local actors, and to respond effectively and efficiently in the event of an emergency.

The TSC Resource Sheet was designed to share learning gathered through the project, and to enable agencies to make more informed decisions in the future. It includes links to a wide range of resources, including on Surge Training, Good Practice for Wellbeing, on Women in Surge and on the Future of Humanitarian Surge.
