Video Diary: Talent Development graduates respond to Rohingya crisis

Project: Talent Development 27th November 2017

Since late August 2015, over half a million Rohingya refugees have arrived in Bangladesh due to ongoing violence in Rakhine State, Myanmar. The Department of Disaster Management (DDM) is responding to the crisis, and in doing so requested support from 10 graduates of the Humanitarian Trainee Scheme (HTS) and Context programmes, run by the Talent Development project of the Disasters and Emergencies Preparedness Programme.

In this short video, a few of the graduates share their experiences of deployment. They also published three work updates, which can be found here: 1, 2, 3.

You can read more about the partnership between the Talent Development project and the DDM here.
