VIDEO – Transforming Surge Capacity Project

Project: Transforming Surge Capacity 6th February 2018

The Transforming Surge Capacity project aims to improve the capacity of humanitarian agencies to scale up resources for emergency response – getting the right people to the right places, doing the right things in the shortest time possible. It aims to pilot and build evidence of ways of providing surge capacity that are more collaborative, locally focused, and which engage better with other stakeholders such as partner organizations, local communities, the UN and the private sector.

Led by ActionAid, the project brings together 11 agencies and 2 technical partners who collaborate in its delivery.
